Pom Poko and Only Yesterday on Film4

Pom Poko is on 2nd December at 1pm
Only Yesterday is on 4th December at 2.50pm

I guess most anime, ever lesser-known stuff from a popular studio like Ghibli, is still too niche to warrant a prime-time slot in the UK.

Ooo, that's one of the many great things about Christmas... Ghibli on Film4. Though.... not Pom Poko. I'm sorry but, testicles???

Only Yesterday is a really very relaxing ghibli. I loved it.

Yeah, Only Yesterday is a great film. And the protagonist (well, the older version) is the same age as me, meaning I can relate to her better than most anime characters.

I've yet to see Pom Poko and with all this talk of raccoon nuts I'm not sure I want to.
