The amount of new Sentai releases has really dried up recently... I hope this isn't implying they're in trouble. Over the past 6 months many announcements were either re-releases or limited editions of previous releases.

That edition for Oshi No Ko is the second most audacious presentation I’ve ever seen
The Sentai belated special editions always annoy me. I love Oshi No Ko. Would totally have bought it as a fancier edition the first time around. But I don't want to buy the show again after importing the steelbook version! I know that they like to see how well a show has done but was it ever in doubt that Oshi No Ko would perform?

I'm all in for anime steelbooks, and I also own the steel for Oshi no Ko, so I won't have any interest in a Limited Edition Box set - especially any overly-overpriced Sentai versions of Limited Editions.

This is not Sentai's usual time of month for announcements; those usually occur later in the month, about a week typically after Crunchyroll US' announcements which are on the 15th, though I think they've been closer to that lately.
So I think it's possible this LE was a special announcement and there will hopefully be something else later this month.
Either way, your larger point about their schedule for a while now is indeed worrying, though. AMC Networks bought Sentai at the beginning of 2022:

For a short time, that seemed to improve things as they were having larger sets of announcements. Then later that year AMC started having the same issues facing most streaming companies:
Whether a factor in Sentai's current situation I don't know, but I would expect they aren't the highest priority for their parent company.

I really think that sh***yroll getting the 3rd season of Oshi No Ko instead of Sentai is a bunch of crap. I don't want to see Sentai go under because they appreciate their customers where as sh***yroll doesn't give a damn about them. I know that having one giant company almost totally dominate the anime industry is bad for consumers and everybody else.

Interesting to see Assassination Classroom get another CE / LE but at least this includes the movie though the extras are barebones. I do like the design of the set but I'll likely just stick with my AL complete series LE and Manga UK standard edition for the movie.

Seeing how few titles are in Crunchyroll's announcements for the last several months is troubling given how many shows they license. No doubt more and more shows aren't going to be getting physical releases at all.
For a few months there it looked like they were going to have larger monthly slates and also pick up some of the series that had gotten skipped over during the transition period from Funimation to Crunchyroll when they released so little. That seems to be over now as well.
I want Headhunted to Another World so I hope that is one that will get a UK release. I'm not interested in the rest of this set of announcements.
