I've had a further session on it and it justs gets better and better! Just completed the wonderful fishing sequence (got to draw - literally - a line and connect it to bait).

I love restoring the land I do.

Love the characters too!
 
So far i have 11 of the 13 brush techniques and the further i go into the game, the more the game amazes me, the scenery becomes more brilliant and the gameplay and story become more greater each place i get to next.
 
I'm still playing this. I'm currently 45 hours into it, and its one of those few games where I'm trying to get everything I can out of it (after all, games like this come once in a blue moon, to use a soundbite there).

And what is there afterwards (on the PS2 anyway)? Final Fantasy XII and Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga II. My life is worthless...
 
Just finished it. It's worth playing overall, but great graphic style aside, it isn't without it's boring parts. Play in doses.
