I do, actually, as much as I don't want to have another argument over nothing. ^^;
If English people start using the Japanese definition of the word commonly romanized as "anime", there's no point using it at all, since we have English words that are 100% appropriate ("cartoon", "animation", etc).
There is now, and has been for a while, the *English* word "anime", which has come to mean, within reason, "animation produced in Japan, for the Japanese market", as far as I understand it. The furthest this would extend is to animation produced in Japan for the overseas part of the "anime" market.
