Nominations for Worst Anime Fanbase

Id have to say the most anoying fan base is the one thats comprised of pre or young teen boys that have only seen DBZ, Pokemon and the like on toonami or whatever and think there experts on all things anime, some of the most anoying people ive ever meet fall into this catagory 8)

death note fanbase - annoying? hmmmm.... think again...
Death Note fanbase that writes stories about L and Light having sex....

...very annoying.
Ha ha! That's so true.

Not all of death notes's fanbase thinks like that... duh!
I'm a Death Note fan myself. I was agreeing with WTFDaveMustaine about those that make sex stories about Light and L. You fail.

I didn't say all Death Note fans. I said Death Note fans that read/write/enjoy L and Light fanfics.

As a fan of the series I just think it's stupid, along with all other fanfics.

I don't dislike a fanbase that enjoy writing/reading/drawing a certain pairing. If they take that step into 'omgz L/Light is sooo hott' and so on like that all the time.

yes ok,fair enough.

Other then that, they generally seek out others who feel the same, not bothering fans who dislike it.

I dont find it annoying in the slightest personally. So i suppose i find it hard to grasp how people constantly go on about it.

Oh well, what makes a certain fanbase annoying is usually the silly little children spoiling it and nothing else.

I can still find it annoying and think they're sad buggers though right? :p

Murder She Wrote fanfics? Cmon!

I neither like nor dislike any fan base butthe ones that annoy me slightly more than most are those who like Final Fantasy. Its an Ok Game & The Movie was good but really can anyone like it that much?

Now I Wait to see if any FF fans comes to defend FF

Doesn't even need to be a programme, books and music probably have FanFic's too. . .
isn't there http://www.fanfic.com or something.

Given the anime portrays their relationship as subtly homo-erotic, I'm not particularly surprised to see that pairing has inspired some fans. There is no doubt about what the anime writers were hinting at during the foot drying scene. Still, it's not as bluntly obvious as Get Backers.

Meh, thats just fanservice at the end of the day.

I dont really dislike any Fanbase particularly, I can't really have a go at Naruto fans seeing as I used to be somewhat of a 'Narutard' myself.
I think the only people that sort of irritate me in anime fandom are the people that pick random pairings out of the air, be it either yaoi or yuri fans that assume two characters are into each other because they may spend one scene in an entire episode of an anime in the same room... But I guess this is more a sub-division that exists in the majority of Anime Fanbases.
