Jayme said:I expect the next box set Death Note if anything, due to the same OTT popularity that NARUTO has; and its only 12 tankobons.
Sy said:I'd say overall that the manga has the edge over the anime or at least from what i've read so far. For one the potential for yoai pairings isn't apparently played into as much as it is in the anime.

You're right, I have no idea why I posted it here :/ Ah well, it'll get more attention here anyway : )
Aion said:Not sure why people are getting excited about this? It's a big item and way over the customs limit..
Sy said:Here we go again.
I'm just saying that the yoai potential in the anime was played on more then it was in the manga. That's all.

Has any of the Naruto manga been released in the UK?
Yes, I can. But in the case of the Death Note anime it's not needed to enhance the story or characters and is just played on to pander to certain parts of the fanbase. Since you've already seen the anime version why not go for the manga version instead if you're thinking of picking up the series in some form? It's an overall good adaption but some things just seemed to work better on paper.CitizenGeek said:The lack of potential for yaoi pairings was, like, the main response you gave for why the manga is worthwhile, when one has already seen the anime. That is seriously weird, Sy - you can't even handle potential homoeroticsm?
