Which version of Honey did you hear bad things about? There are some pretty big differences between the live action, original, New, Flash and Re versions which could polarise people. I think New would turn off a lot of girls or "cute" fans (though I loved it!) whereas Re could upset fans of the original (again, I loved it). And the live action reinterpretations are camp and rather terrible yet manage to be strangely enjoyable fluff.

The only one which made me think "Sailor Moon" was Cutie Honey F. The original series long predates the Sailor Senshi and has a different feel to the team based show!

A lot of older Honey fans don't like the newer stuff but I do and think this video might help (the opening to the Re: Cutie Honey project):

Ok, first, Sailor Moon aired in the late 80's and Cutie Honey aired in the late 70's. so if they were indeed similar, it should be that Sailor Moon is similar to Cutie Honey. Secondly, aside from the magical girl aspect, I don't see how they are similar.

Trust me... Ages ago on another forum, I used to change my name 'constantly'. So much that I 'change' my name once a week. It's the mood that I was in. Everytime I have a different mood, bam goes the name change =P
