And I'm talking about the current ones that are 'being' licensed, already are for about a year and the one that are coming out in Japan.
The reason however I'm being concerned is that my sudden 'interest' in anime is starting to wane. Mostly in the series department... Every series I turn to, wherever it's Fansub... or sometimes DVD, I can't help myself to absorb myself into it.
I'd even traded in my 2 last exile DVD because all they did was gathering dust. It was an excellent anime, but I couldn't watch it over and over again. But most of the anime that is coming from Japan are utter crap.
Soul Eater, a good anime imo, already lost my interest ages ago. Good start with humour, but quickly switches me off. I dunno if I can actually have the patience to watch a series to the end. Bleach is definitley one example that really lost my patience ages ago... 'especially' when the Fillers kick in.
But OVA, short series and some films managed to keep me interested and become attached to my brain for a long time. 'The girl who leapt through time' is one that I will remember for a long time. Even now I am becoming more interested in 'short series' and 'OVA' than the main series. 5 centimeter per second is one that grabbing my interest...
I dunno... But I'm starting to realise that 'Anime' is showing it's true colours, well the modern one that's being released in Japan as we know. It's basically crap, uninspiring and is ruining 'what' made it great in the first place. All I can see is uninspiring stories, slutty characters, generic characters and sometimes... unappealing animation.
I think from now on, I'm sticking to the chosen three...
