Most underated anime character?

Ah, the playa. I got to say, he's a character that you love to hate, which is why he's a worthy mention as a character. He isn't perfect nor a morally-good guy. Just someone who wants to get into someone's skirt and I like him as that.
Underrated characters: Lain. She hardly get a mention as she's my personal favourite. I like how she started from a person who hardly use a computer to someone who found the biggest secrets in the wired, all connecting through great philosophy. And I love her multiple personalities <<3 Truly the best character imo.

I like Mikami, but I don't think he's underrated. He has a fair fan-base which, I think, is just right.

But you have to understand that i favour the first half of death note
and even then i'm not a huge fan and Mikami bored me.i'm struggling to think of characters i know and like that would be classed as underrated as i'm sure they will have their own fans

Agreed, shaun/sean, agreed! Though I'll admit my respect for him went down a little at one point just because I could never spell/pronounce his name.
Also, his Japanese voice is very similar to someone I've herd before... no idea who though.

I have no idea who his jap voice would be since i've only seen it dubbed, but i'm sure it would need to be someone epic to fill bunshichi's shoes!

Gene Starwind! From the anime series Outlaw Star (Which is underrated in itself IMO), this was the first animu series I ever saw (on Toonami
)and Gene was one of the reason I bothered to watch and look at other animu shows.
