Yeah it was, after it returned from cancellation after season 3 it's gone downhill and all it has are the same recycled jokes or the episodes writers own political tirades, or just blatant unneeded violence

Jumping the Shark it has!

this reminds me of the time I watched that South Park episode

Have they showed the latest season in the UK yet? It's pretty good, better than the seasons past season 3, they cut down a lot on the cut aways, the music has gotten better and it's as if they knew what was ruining the show.

Yeah. It was on BBC Three.

Seth left before S9 started. The main flaw with the season was in the last one. They showed the whole "Dancing in the Street" video.

American Dad is easily the best show Seth's done, though.

The problem with shows like Family Guy and American Dad for me at least, is episodes are hit and miss. I can either be laughing my ass off at an episode, or about as dead pan as Rei Ayanami.

Deadpan is bad?

Deadpan means "dry wit". Like saying something funny with a straight face.

But I agree, FG and AD are hit and miss, but when it hits, it hits well.

I dreamt last night that Manga were releasing DBZ in 5 episode volumes. We were not to get KAI/DB/GT until they had all been released!!
...and if you didn't buy ever 5 ep volume, they'd endlessly bitch at you and threaten to cancel it.

And then we all imported the Oranges Boxes from Funimation, it was a good day for UP1.

Thing is, by now even Manga UK must know that everyone who was going to buy Dragonball Z has already imported it, so if they do bother, it will be a waste of time.

well yeah it would be a waste of time. ever since dragon ball z came to dvd everyone wanted dragon ball z...........however the fans got bitched slapped after we saw the remastered boxsets (bloody widescreen)

I know similar messages regarding imports have been posted several times on these forums before, but after having my hopes lifted in the other related thread, I've ended up going and importing the first two volumes of the kai blu rays.

And I find S2+3 of family guy to be quite funny. After it's return as well as several other things it also started from the simpson's problem (but even more so) of not knowing when to end a bloody joke and dragging on and on and on

...and on (I'll be enjoying an episode, and then a 'gag' comes along that makes me press up the time to make sure I'm not just imagining the amount of time it's taking)

Yes, but they must also know how jaded people were of Blu Ray series sets and they released X'amnd like a moran.

DB Kai would be better for Manga UK to release has it doesn't have as many episodes as DBZ.

Also on the subject, lets say they started to release boxsets of DBZ and they werent successful, then they would have to cancel the rest of the boxsets has it would be seen as profitable, just like they did with FMA Brotherhood Blu-Ray releases.
