Manga in our streets, in shops... and now our churches too!

It has been said for a while that manga is rapidly expanding in the UK; a few years ago we had to import 95% of graphic novels from the US or Japan, yet now manga is even influencing the UK's catholic churches, thanks to the National Office for Vocation of the Bishops Conference of England and Wales.

"Calledtoday" is a manga-themed website, bordering on a web-comic, and poster campaign aimed at interesting younger readers in the catholic religion. If interested, take a look at Calledtoday.com.

Interesting.... to say the least. Maybe they should read somthing like Arm of Kannon and then see if they want to continue with it. >_>

*sigh* The church has proven yet another way to fail at interesting young people.

(And I'm saying that as a Christian.)

Well, it was only matter of time. I'm just suprised it was the catholics who did this first though, normally it's the Church of England who tries to latch onto the latest trend among teenagers in a vain effort to appear to be cool.

They should get in 666 Satan haha
666 Satan doesn't really have any Catholic references in it. It's mostly all Kabbalah.
Maybe they should get O-Parts Hunter where the hero is Satan :p.
O-parts hunter nad 666 Saitan are one of the same, viz knew damn well that it coulkn't get away with relasing a series called 666 Satan.

They keep all the in stuff, but the covers, nuh-uh.
