Well its good it got nominated as I cant see it winning.

I wouldn't put money on it. The competition is really tough this year, with two Disney films, as well as the critically acclaimed Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.

Mirai is one of this years better films full stop for me

Mirai has seemed very divisive. Especially with people who are parents and who aren’t,What I’ve seen anyway.

Both are about family from slightly different points of view. I liked Mirai more!

I'd agree with that. I enjoyed Maquia a lot more than Mirai, but I can see why it'd be a harder sell to mainstream critics and audiences.
