Kimio Yanagisawa’s Shimin Police 69 (The Citizen Police 69), which is scheduled to be released in Japan on March the 19th, has now got a trailer.
The manga takes place in Tokyo, a city suffering rising crime which the police are struggling to control. As a result, the anti-crime organisation Citizen Police 69, were formed. Unfortunately for timid middle-aged salary man Hazime Kaoru, he finds himself recruited into the 69th Citizens Police and their war on crime. The film was directed by Ryuichi Honda (Dance Till Tomorrow) and stars first time lead actor Toshiya Sakai (51), AV performer Saori Hara (22) and Akari Hayami (15) a soon to be former member of the idol group Momoiro Clover which she plans to leave in April.
