sshhhh they may hear you...and i wouldn't joke about something like that either, i did once and the following week there was rumours of a FMP movie with the guy from High School Muscial in it. Thank god it wasn't confrimed. Still i would live a lot happier knowing there will never be a live action Naruto movie, since it would never work.

A live action Dragonball Z movie would never work but it happened. Don't let your guard down yet.
 
In the realms of Akira being adapted into a live action movie,the manga has so much ground to cover that I'd doubt all the details will be included.It'll more likely be an adaption of the movie(so an adaption of an adaption :roll: ),so there'll be no way to please everyone to that extent,but I think it could be good.Akira was one of the gateway films for anime fans way back when,so perhaps this could be used to show that holywood can adapt a manga/anime without having to make it overly childish.

In the realms of adaptions that are just so impossible they may just happen,I'll nominate She:the ultimate super weapon and Bleach.
 
I've already seen the live action She: The Ultimate Weapon. I don't recall it being very good, much like the Death Note live action films it looked a bit made for TV.
 
Bleach has already had a musical in japan so its had a live action adaption of sorts :p

Except Zac Efron is a decent actor. He can be good if he isn't in another Disney film. And 17 Again proves that he can be a good actor. He's only been in very few films, mind. So you cannot really judge that he's a **** actor =/

Except Zac Efron is a decent actor. He can be good if he isn't in another Disney film. And 17 Again proves that he can be a good actor. He's only been in very few films, mind. So you cannot really judge that he's a **** actor =/

Well this is strictly opinion territory here really but from what i saw of the movie his acting wasn't much better then the HSM stuff, Shia La Beouf can outact him from my point of view. Of course there is another issue here and that of casting, Zac would not of made a good Sousuke, he doesn't fit the character type, but on saying that i don't know of any actors that age who would, so probably best to go with an unknown.

with regards to what i said and unellmay's newest post, i will concede that he looks the part for Light Yagami :p although i would never see a amercian live action Death Note Movie anyway due to my thoughts on the original series

You didn't like it I thought it was amazing till around the second half

And I was actually serious about naruto :oops:
I wrote the plot for a bunch of live actions movies in my head such as how it would go in each movie and what would taken out or put in
I came up with 6 2 & 1/2 hour long movies
I would get a bunch of no name actors to play the parts
and it wouldn't suck so much like dragonball it will this be the same story
 
What did you think of it after the first arc? as it was the second arc where i lost intrest (should of ended it on L v Light)

Admittedly i've thought of how shows could be done in live action before (and video games, i must of dreampt loads up for Devil May Cry) After watching the new Guyver series, i'm certain they can make a decent movie out of it, following on from Dark Hero's success.

Nah then that douchebag light would have won
I was more just annoyed that my favourite character was gone
and replace by two rather mediocre ones
Near was just meeer
and Mello was Just annoying
after the first half I actually started routing for light who I rather dislike
cause he was the only one doing cool interesting stuff =/

They did a good Job on the anime by cutting down a little I think


I was actually be interested to see these as live action Just to see what they do with them

Well Cowboy Bebop and Ghost in the Shell are being done as we speak. Never thought of Planetes but that would work and be a nice movie if done right (which seems to be the thing with all adaptions)

As for DN, i disliked the replacements, one of the reasons i quickly turned away from the series

Yeah if they don't screw around with the ending
the show did

And I wanna see school days since it has such a shockingly awesome
ending :)
