there are some animes that been made in to english e.g stray - wolfs rain
and there are anime music in japanese, even tho i can't understand the japanese i love to listen to them heres my list:
beyond the door - fma
heroes come back - naruto shippuden
battle of omega - dbz raging blast 2
english theme of card captor
cha la head cha la and we gotta power - dbz
row row fight the power and virals theme - ttgl ( i love ttgl music )
high and mighty colours - bleach
stray - wolf rain
recless fire and drastic my soul - scryed
the opening of Neon Genesis Evangelion
i have a few others but i cant remember lol
 
I have the Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann OST album on my phone (came with vol 2) and many Naruto OST's on my ipod :) also some devil may cry ones too, rather nice to listen to every now and then.

everynight when i go for my run i like to listen to them while im running, there from my phone
 
Fair enough, i guess with the weather being warm this early in the year it makes sense to go for a run/jog, fair play to you :)

I'll be sat in the garden with a beer, listening to music and then doing BBQ's in the summer, gotta love listening to good music/OST's and doing things you like.

If you haven't already, listen to the Cowboy bebop OST - Tank! :) very iconic and i personally think its one of the best.

man that sounds so nice. to be honest i even go in the winter while listening to my anime songs
 
I have the entirety of the Cowboy Bebop soundtrack on here, and it's on daily. If i don't get my dose of Road to the West or Blue and such, i may have withdrawal symptoms >.>

Others, i do love my Macross Frontier music(notice a trend here?) and i've been meaning to pick up the Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex OSTs too.

I do have a select few songs from Berserk which are astounding to listen to as well. Forces is a fantastic example, and probably the most well known. Outside the OP. Susumu Hirasawa is spectacular with his music, it has to be said.

Actually, the other person i'm now tempted to check out after the podcast chat last friday is Kenji Kawai. He seems to produce an awful lot, so i may as well see what i can find there.

I own the the first vols of the Trigun and Lunar Legend Tsukihime OSTs but as for singluar tracks i listen to, let's see.

H.T. - Trigun Opening. A great little song, little as I can only find it in its 1 min 30 running time.

Sacred Moon - Lunar Legend Tsukihime opening. Possibly the best thing to come out of the tsukihme anime adaption, again I can only find the show version, which is really annoying as i love the song to bits.

D-Technolife - UVERworld (Bleach 2nd Opening) Currently my favourite Bleach opening, and from what I've seen on youtube of the other openings not likely to change.

Fire Wars - JAM Project (Mazinkaiser opening) The song that led me to JAM Project and the rest of their song collection.

Higurashi no naku koro ni & Naraku no Hana - Eiko Shimamiya. (Higurashi no naku koro ni openings) These grew on me other the time I spent watching the show.

RISE - Origa (Ghost in the Shell 2nd GIG op) A far better intro then Inner Universe for 1st Gig :p

Yuusha-Oh Tanjou! - Masaaki Endoh (King of Braves GaoGaiGar opening) This song was the reason I watched GaoGaiGar in the first place and I think most will agree with me on how much it rocks, this and the follow up version for GaoGaiGar FINAL.

If i continued the list the others on my computer/ mp3 player then I may be here all day, suffice to say I've got a nice little mix.
 
not sure whether this counts but I've always thoroughly enjoyed Ar tonelico's soundtracks/hymns, I'm not going to go into too much detail, but it is something you have to listen to.
I also like the Nichijou OP out of the shows I'm watching at the moment

I love it too. I also really like the Death Note and Code Geass soundtracks, the latter having a nice Jazz/ latin vibe for the most part.

Special recognition goes to Susumu Hirasawa for pretty much all his Satoshi Kon work, especially Paprika and Millennium Actress. Mediational Field is perhaps my favourite piece of music ever.
 
The Escaflowne Soundtrack is great. Quite aside from the orchestral bits, the opening theme, Yokosoku Wa Iranai is one of the best pieces of Jpop I've listened to.
 
The Scrapped Princess soundtrack is sooo good. The opening, Little Wing is still my favourite anime opening to this day. It has a really nice feel good vibe to it that makes me smile whenever I hear it.
