UK Legal Streaming Spreadsheet

All Newly Added Anime, OVA's, Dubs and Removals for the month of December is listed below. This spreadsheet is kept up-to-date by Crashb648, in collaboration with NormanicGrav.

Thank you for all of those who have helped in mentioning updates I haven't spotted! It does take work to keep the spreadsheet up-to-date, so I appreciate it.

Yearly Refresh
Every year, I crawl through the libraries of the legal streaming services, and add/remove/modify Shows, Movies, OVA's and Dub's that have changed since last year.
It takes a lot of work to maintain this spreadsheet throughout the year, and sometimes I do miss updates, especially when the services don't announce some of these changes.

So the spreadsheet should be up-to-date. If you do find something that isn't right, don't hesitate to comment below.


ITX Arrives!
After a brief spell on All4, this is the first new legal streaming service featuring Anime for quite a while. There's 27 titles added at the moment, so I've given ITVX it's own tab. Hopefully more titles will be added in the future. :)


Crunchyroll and Funimation Merger
Sony, the new owners of Crunchyroll, are in the process of porting the Funimation Catalog of Shows, Movies and Dub's to Crunchyroll. This happens every Tuesday, which is listed below. The Funimation section will be kept updated until this process is complete, so you can check which titles have yet to make the jump across to Crunchyroll.

Current Process: 623 titles out of 818 have been ported over. 195 Remaining!
(Assuming all of them make their way over)

Hello Everyone!
I'm a bit early this month, but I can't see much happening, anime-related, in the last two days of the year. Right... right?

Anyways, I have three personal points:

Firstly, Spreadsheet updates will continue next year. While it does take a little work to it up-to-date, it's a massive help to everyone who uses it, including myself and my younger brother. We are always on the scout for more anime, and I'm sure you are too!

Secondly, yes, there is an awful lot of HIDIVE titles that have been removed. I remember reading somewhere where there might be availability issues with some titles. Considering there are titles like Non Non Biyori (which are their license if I'm not mistaking) currently missing, I'm hoping that is the case, and we will see them again soon.

Thirdly, I just wanted to say a special thank you to @NormanicGrav . While I update the spreadsheet, it's NormanicGrav hard work in keeping everyone up-to-date with seasonal Anime, along with other regular Anime updates. It's this collaborative process that makes this possible, so NormanicGrav, you rock!

Yikes, that really is a massive list of shows removed from HiDive. Makes me wonder if Crunchymation are applying pressure to licensors in an attempt to kill off the last of their streaming competition, or if HiDive/Sentai are in financial trouble.

Oh blast, I didn't notice that heh. Had been trying to slowly get through the manga but left it off for a little while so may watch the first thirty as a refresher before carrying on again (and also I don't trust that Netflix won't just remove it altogether instead of adding the remaining episodes...)
 
I find it surprising that no one appears to have licensed 'The Magical Revolution of the Reincarnated Princess and the Genius Young Lady' when it is due to start airing tomorrow.

Crunchyroll's winter lineup still has half a dozen unannounced titles. Maybe negotiations are still in progress and it will be a late start. I just hope we aren't already seeing the inevitable slide into fewer shows being licensed now that competition in the anime streaming space is almost nonexistent.

I think we are already on that path, because I pretty certain that if Funimation was still around they would have streamed Futoku no Guild censored and then released a physical copy uncensored later. However now that they're gone no one licensed that show from this past season.

I stopped watching at episode 3 when I realised only the first 30 were up but pleasantly surprised that Netflix have added the rest of the episodes! Now I‘ve just got to decide whether to binge or savour…🤔

You might need to update your HIDIVE section as the Revue Starlight Movie has now been removed. I don't want to doubt but was this definitely added for the UK? These sudden region restrictions are getting concerning and with the growing lack of content I might consider unsubscribing at this rate. I thought it was bizarre to see shows like Onipan getting restricted within 8 months but Revue Starlight's movie getting removed within 2 is absurd.

I think Hidive is just saving money by not renewing any licenses that expire and only spending on new licenses. An unfortunate side effect of being owned by AMC who is having their own crisis due to cable cutters cancelling their TV packages.

That would make sense for some shows but when titles are removed after only months on the service I doubt that's the case. I can't see why a company would only license a series for 8 months when the industry standard is 5-10 years
