Kyousogiga Anime Online

I thought that for most of this thread I was busy being annoyed about the forum rules being broken to promote illegal activity; I have heard all the pro-digisub arguments and I also know that disliking it is an impossible position to argue when there's no obvious downside to it for the people benefiting.

I have a dream where we actually get catered for by the legit companies one day, which bypassing them for quick gratification often ruins. Apologies for the stray comments from this idealistic fool.

I understand that. If we started posting links to torrents, etc. Then Manga UK might throw a hissy fit and stop sending AUKN review copies.

But it's not against the rules to mention "There's a subtitled copy about" without mentioning links or websites.

Also, don't say "digisub". It's a really dated word

I don't say "fansub" (an even older word!) intentionally. And directing people to specific groups is most definitely against the rules, however 'hidden' it might be. Just don't do it.

Why not?

Just kidding  Yeah, that's fair enough.

Also, I'm guessing you don't like the word "fansub" because you don't consider them "real fans"

That group of age-old, boring anime fandom arguments like sub vs dub, moral dubiousness of downloads, Goku vs Superman, the ones that people have been over time and again.
