A television commercial for Kokoro Connect was aired yesterday ahead of its premiere on the 7th of July.



Synopsis
<em>
Yamahoshi Academy's Culture Club is undergoing a strange phenomenon as the five members of the club - two male and three female - switch bodies with each other.</em>

The anime adaptation of Anda Sadanatsu's light novel series which were illustrated by Yukiko Horiguchi (character designer for the anime’s K-ON! And Lucky Star). The anime is directed by Shin Oonuma (Dusk Maiden of Amnesia) with Shinya Kawamo (Durarara!!) acting as assistant director. Series composition is orchestrated by Fumihiko Shimo (Clannad). Character design is handled by Toshifumi Akai (Sound of the Sky).

Voice actors involved include Miyuki Sawashiro (Canaan in Canaan, Kyrie in Crystal Blaze), Aki Toyosaki (Nako in Hanasaku Iroha), Takuma Terashima (Masayoshi Uehara in Amagami SS), Hisako Kanemoto (Asuna in the movie Children Who Chase Lost Voices).

So that's why K-ON! didn't have many male characters (no main ones anyway)...because guys don't look good in that art style.

Silver Link are the studio animating it (Most are ex-employees of SHAFT). So think of it as the "What if Kyoto Ani and SHAFT worked together on something".

Neither gender looks good in the K-ON art style.

Girls look marginally better than the guys though =3.

For me, guys look almost the same as girls, only the outfits are differentXD I don't like this style particularly, but it's just a matter of taste;P
