Kannazuki No Miko

Has anyone watched this?
It's a super robot show/romance drama that completley escaped my attention untill I started buying Newtpe USA again this month.
It looks good to me but I'd like to hear from anyone who's actually seen it.

Personally I love it so far (watched the first DVD), and actually posted a review of the first four episodes in my blog earliar (does have spoilers in the later part of it though so if you do look be warned). I will say that the mecha isn't the main part of the show (although there is a sizeable amount of it) and the main story is a angst ridden love triangle with both a male and female character pursuing the female leads attentions so bare that in mind. Im not a huge mecha fan (Im watching the show for the drama side) but I do like the battles in the anime, they have a bit of a retro feel to them for sure.

Also worth pointing out the show has a fairly high quotient of yuri content so if thats something that may put you off then it might not be for you.

OK, thanks it sounds interesting, I'm not against anything that isn't 100% mecha fights.
I'll sound like a noob but I have to ask,
Yuri is, lesbianism?

Aaaah, I thought I recognised the title. I've actually seen the first 3 episodes of this... though i didn't really like it. I must admit, the yuri theme I found kinda distracting..

Kannazuki no Miko is not really about the mecha. They take second place in comparison to angst and turmoil world of Chikane x Himeko x Souma relationship. The drama however is top notch.
It gets very OTT and the enemies are well..disposable. I loved it though! The first episode of Kannazuki is one my all time favourites. Every episode is a cliffhanger that pulls those heart strings if you sympathise with one of the characters.
If you don't like shoujo-ai/yuri then I would stay away - it's very focused on a certain potential relationship..

LAMBORGHINI ALAR SPECIFICATIONS

"Happy birthday." *smooch*

Lesbian kiss + first episode = entertainment.

A memorable series that I should watch again sometime.

I'm not sure where my mind was at the other day, super robots and girl love?
I can't think of a reason why I wouldn't like this.

*orders*

Thanks to you all for your input but especially Miss Mangaminx.
