A three-minute trailer for Isao Takahata’s The Story of Princess Kaguya (Kaguya Hime no Monogatari) has been aired on NTV and is now online.
The film is a retelling of the popular Japanese folktale The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter (Taketori Monogatari) and follows a princess named Kaguya who is discovered inside the stalk of a bamboo plant.
The film will go on theatrical release November 23rd.
