Kadokawa's anime channel is streaming an a trailer for the anime adaptation of Yuki Ayatsuji’s Another horror novel which centres around a school class under a curse which causes unavoidable deaths.

The television anime has been produced by P.A. Works (Angel Beats) with big names in the production credits including Noizo Ito (Haruhi Suzumiya, Shakugan no Shana) working on character designs, Yuriko Ishii (Persona – trinity soul-) adapting those designs for animation, Ryou Higaki (moribito – Guardian of the Spirit) handling the scripts and Tsutomu Mizushima ( Blood-C) acting as director. The cast includes:
<strong>Atushi Abe</strong> (Moritaka Mashiro in Bakuman, Itsuki Tomofusa in Blood-C, Heine in Last Exile: Fam, the Silver Wing),
<strong>Natsumi Takamori</strong> (Brigid in Shakugan no Shana III, Mei Hoshino in Dream Eater Merry),
<strong>Ai Nonaka</strong> (Beauty in Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo, Fuuko Ibuki in Clannad)
<strong>Hiroaki Hirata</strong> (Benny in Black Lagoon, Koga in Ghost in the Shell 2)
The opening theme is called Nightmare Contagion and was handled by Ali Project who have worked on Rozen Maiden and Code Geass while Annabel who has performed the theme song for CANAAN is taking care of the end theme. The anime will premiere on the 9th of January, 2012.
