just read on a report that mvm has confirmed shana for relase next year! magna and beez are wating for the ink to dry on their contacts. adv will release ah my goddess season 2 two months after mvm wrap their first season up. revelations films have nothing to confirm at the moment!

* ADV began by talking about Red Garden, 009-1, and the Azumanga Daioh collection.
* They will release The Wallflower (Feb), Ah! My Goddess Season 2 (Feb) and Pumpkin Scissors in Q1 2008.
* They confirmed that Devil May Cry was licenced for UK release. (this is the first confirmation I believe)


* Beez had no licences to mention yet, but mentioned that they were closing negotiations on a lot of stuff.
* They did however mention a S-Cry-Ed box (or pair of boxes, format is unknown) to be released before the end of the year.


* MVM talked about new licences, and revealed four of them. They are:
> Love Hina Again
> Witchblade
> Black Lagoon (both seasons)
> Shakugana no Shana
* As with Beez, they wanted to announce more, but weren't quite ready with some others.


* Manga began by talking about Bleach, and their plans for releasing it. All previously known details however.
* The Naruto movie was next, this time confirming a limited cinematic release, with two screenings at the Apollo London, 11am on 24th-25th November.
* They confirmed the aquisition of Naruto Season 3, and the Strait Jacket OVA.



* There was talk about how the Geneon demise would affect the UK market, and Tony from MVM in particular (who was the primary person who dealt with them) talked about how they seem to be moving towards the Kadokawa USA model, which incidentally is how the UK companies seem to work anyway.
* There was no One Piece news, however there were a few digs at Manga, the other companies hinting that they (manga) are activly negotiating for it.

Well I’m very pleased. All of those licenses from MVM are cool and I was hoping we would get a S-Cry-Ed boxset sometime. The news on ADV releases is cool I was wondering when half that stuff was coming. I'm also not surprised to hear about Devil May Cry :?
If Manga do get One Piece it will be interesting. I'm just really curious as to what MVM and Beez are trying to get. :?
 
Manga Ent'll probably end up with One Piece, They get most VIZ properties. I won't bother with Devil May Cry at all, Everything I heard was negative. As for Shana, It sounds pretty awesome. I will be getting a hold of that at some point.

I would love if Manga got One Piece! They'd put loads of eps on one volume and charge a reasonable price for it, like they are doing with Bleach! However, I would think it's more likely that FUNimation themselves will release One Piece over here.

I would hate it if they got a hold of One Piece, I would much rather Rev getting it.

Manga Ent would destroy it srsly and screw up the releases. Pfft.
 
i wonder who will bring out death note? i bet bandai and relevation are waiting until after the expo! or maybe it could be today..... does anyone know who licensed glass feet in america?

VIZ got in teh 'mericas. I wouldn't hold your breathe BUT, Its SO. . .Manga's Ents.
 
As long as One Piece gets 13 episodes in each release, I'll be more than content with whoever releases it. I'll feel quite giddy, too!

I can't wait to look proudly at a shelf complete with Naruto, Bleach and One Piece DVDs.
 
By Red Garden collection do you mean Boxset? I don't want to go and start Red Garden only for a boxset to come out before the singles are finished.

Only Manga do stuff like that and as Red Garden's from ADV so you're in safe hands. (with them there's normally a minimum 6 month gap between a final volulme and collection)

Don't just copy/paste and them make it seem as though you wrote it. You even retained my typo, calling it "Shakugana no Shana" not Shakugan no Shana.

No, ADV talked about Red Garden (single), 009-1 (single) and Azumanga Daioh (collection). Sorry about not making that clearer.


Manga have gone away from dubtitles now Lupus & Jayme. You can happily buy their DVDs without reason for complaint.

I guess I will be buying Red Garden 1 next month then. I wish they had done the boxset It would have saved me a lot of money. It doesn't matter that much though Red Garden is worth it. :D
