Manga have gone away from dubtitles now Lupus & Jayme. You can happily buy their DVDs without reason for complaint.

Amg? Didn't the Naruto 2:2 release [and others] have Dubtitles then? =o

i think he meant, from now on, Manga ent's DVD's will not be dubtitled.

But I still rather have Rev handling it. If Funi plans on Starter Sets for One peice, then Rev will surly release it if they have the rights.

Down with Manga I say...

Manga getting One Piece, DO NOT WANT. [Unless there is no dubtitles.]

Well, I couldn't care less about subtitles, dubtitles or whatever. I enjoy my anime dubbed, so it doesn't matter to me (or the mass market) if the subtitles are timed to the dub voice actors or the Japanese ones.

But I'd still rather have Revelation handle One Piece.

That said, I'd definately prefer this option, too!

People are far too hard on Manga Ent. They were releasing anime when no one else was and they are the only company I've ever seen get anime into shops for reasonable prices.

I know mayn, I'm the same and the OP dub is pretty awesome so far, however, it's always nice to have the option of sub if the dub fails. [Few dubs have failed me.]

Doesn't actually affect you. It affect us, who actually prefers a lot of anine on the Japanese subs to the Dub, which is why we're being so hard on manga.

If Bleach turns out well, then I'll stop prodding Manga with my nastiness.

Yep, maybe so. But like the sub debate on top, thats the reason Anime fans who prefer the Japanese voice hate them so much

Sub fans generally don't care about dubs - okay, they pretend they do, but that's just an act, just an excuse to bash something that isn't 'teh Japanese' - because it doesn't affect them, this same logic applies to me.

I'm sure Bleach will turn out well - which reminds me; YES! BLEACH IS OUT IN 14 DAYS!

Hardly a reason to hate Manga Ent. Without them, you wouldn't be able to buy anywhere near as much anime as you can now.

Have you ever studied all what we said... Its down to dubtitles. Dubtitles is what Manga ENT used on their UK released to save money. Yes, it did end up in putting more effort in releasing many episodes a DVD release, but since some of us can't stand the Dub voice and turn to the Japanese subs, to find out that it isn't a direct transalation of the Jap and it isn't on time, causing more confusion.

That, and plus in Ghost in the shell: SAC, I couldn't stand the big black boarder one of the Disc where the subtitles was. Why can't we have see through subs. At least SAC have one of the best dub around, which I prefer to the Jap anyway.
