Japanese Blu-rays with English Support (Subtitles and Audio) Thread

I don't think I saw Macross Zero 2024 release edition. Has eng subs can provide pics if needed. Also subs are on the upcoming rerelease of Macross DYRL.

Is this only for confirmed releases regardless of what BD specs say? So Macross DYRL not being yet out wouldn't count?
 
Since this thread/the OP has gone a tad dead, I thought I'd link to an active thread on another forum that is updated: Japanese Anime Releases with English Subs/Dubs

There's some new 4k transfers coming out next year for Jin-Roh/Memories. Last update of relevance to me was Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust, which got a remastered release some months back. There are surely enough old farts 'ere that know what/who Kawajiri, so mentioning it I am. Before that was Macross: DYRL, which I own and is a marvel.

I realize this is a VERY late response but yeah it was based on whether people could confirm subtitles as some listings weren't too accurate. I've updated the chart with titles I've missed (mostly going by what AIR News has reported on Twitter). If anyone can confirm any of these recent additions to be inaccurate that would be a great help.

@ActionFaust Macross DYRL has English subtitles. Own and watched it. That aside...
...Hmm, this is vexing: unless blindness is obscuring it, I cannot see VHD: Bloodlust listed there~ If this is because it lacks subs, the UK release didn't either, and the default option even in Japan is English. In fact, the UK release did not even have an unsub'd Japanese audio track. Which is to say, the new remastered JP release has more options.

'Tis my earnest wish that you acquiesce to my request to include it, despite the lack of subs. It is unlikely to get a UK re-relesse anytime soon, and the video quality - which was previously mostly a DVD upscale afaik - now looks like the celporn of old.

As a man, I can respect your stance. However, spurning meeee would not be very nice. And we would become enemies, henceforth, for any man that disregards Kawajiri/meeeeee goes on a very specific list.

It's your choice, of course. Just know that I hold grudges longer than 🐘 s. And I'd crush you like one.

Just to be sure are these sets you've tested yourself or are you getting confirmation from someone else? The 2026 releases in particular I'm confused by considering they haven't actually been released yet.
