It's a (plastic) Gundam!!!

First attempt panel lining a gunpla

3rd party kit as I didnt want to risk ruining a Bandai but think it looks good

I have no idea why uploads keep showing sideways. They're the correct way up everywhere else
Looking good. Did you paint it as well? The panel lining lacquer that works great for this but it needs to be painted or will melt the plastic. I would advise sticking with a fine tip pen for unpainted kits.

I just did it the same way I do Warhammer 40k lining. Watered down Citadel ran through a Japanese nib fountain pen

Its why I've used a third party kit - hoping it wont start cracking or breaking the gundam 😹😹

Hello again Peeps. Last time i posted in this thread was.... (whoa) 2019? where does the time go? I mentioned at the time when I was talking about that article i wrote for the Retro Mecha Podcast blog that I had built plenty of models but not actually painted any. Well....2026 is going to be the year folks. Bought quite a few mecha kits that require some paint to fully complete the look. Hope I don't mess any up. Wish me luck!
