"Is the Ocean Burning?" Simulwatch II: Real Drive.

I think if another one were to happen it should probably be something that's out in the UK market so that people can access it a lot easier than say fansubs.

That could well be a good call, I think I do remember someone else (might have been fabric, I forget) mentioning that in the discussion thread as well. I'm a terrible R1 whore though, so I'd definitely be open to any suggestions. I know Jyu-Oh Sei was mentioned, but I wouldn't know what else to recommend offhand.

Plus, come on, Souta has had the physical and mental **** kicked out of him for pretty much the duration of the show, he's got to catch a break some time! :D

Yeah, that's fair. I think perhaps their sudden squeezing a resolution into the last episode after the relationship had moved so slowly beforehand did catch me unawares. Either that, or I have just inadvertantly developed Secretary General-moe.

My thoughts were maybe something like My-Hime or Witch Hunter Robin. I shamefully have both WHR collections from the day they came out but have yet to properly watch the show; so i'm not sure if it's even suitable or not. My-Hime is a personal fave and something i'd adore to rewatch. It certainly has plenty to discuss as well.

I'm also an R1 fiend so I've got a fair few things imported that I'd like to simulwatch with others but I know they wouldn't be suitable. The Aria series for example is one of my faves but it would be a poor choice for simulwatching as it's just so damn relaxing and nothing happens! It'd be post after post of "Ah this was nice" :D

She did actually turn out to be quite a good character in the end didn't she? I still feel there were things that could have been explained upon a bit more, like her relationship with Sota, but in the end she was a strong character
