i need some help

i was thinking as a career i want to help people/children thats been abused and used, i know theres loads people that needs the help in this world, so iv made up my mind and i want to help those in need and give something to my fellow man but im not sure where to start any suggestions guys

Basically to do that you would need to study Social Care at uni, there is ways to get into that area of work without it, but that degree will help loads.

Contact your local NHS trust. Find out if they have an in house staff bank pool. If so then ask for an application form (they may redirect you to the NHS.jobs website)

Get yourself into the mental health line of work ASAP and you'll be able to work shifts in units/wards with teens and children who have been abused.

As black said, get yourself down the health and social care line at uni and you may do well to do phychology too, that way if you want to help them move forward with their lives you can become a qualified counsellor, base wage is about £26-£27 thousand annual.

i moneys important but i just want to help those in need like
1.women that's been abused/hit (i hate men who hit women)
2.children that's been abused (this sickens me the most)

I get the feeling that;

1 Your taking this on a very personal level... just so you know, having experience with people who've been neglected or abused is a transferrable skill in the nhs (meaning you may know of someone who has been abused, and helped them. but never had any working experience in the field, they will class your experience as a transferrable skill and can employ you) HOWEVER, make sure its done for the right reasons. If you go in thinking of revenge or the likes... your experience will backfire as a motive to do something, which isn't good.

2. I also think you may have watched a recent Panorama show This one in particular. That is not what the NHS is about, thats just one unit from a crap nhs trust. up and down the country there are countless NHS trusts (some specialize in certain illnesses and treatment) so do not let this one unit be used as a black mark against the whole NHS, thats not the way it works at all.

3. You need to make sure your doing it for the right reasons, if you can't say for certain that you'll stick to this for years then it'll be a waste of your time and money at uni level.

Also having worked in the drugs industry myself, while it's noble to want to help people with addicitions, killing drug dealers won't help as new ones rise up to take their place. Drugs are a lot like a Hyrda in that sense. Also you have to know that you can't help everyone, afterall some people (not all of them, a very small minority) just don't want to be helped. I've seen it myself. If you spread yourself too thin trying to help everyone then you're not going to do a good job, better to work with others who want to help people, then you can stick to one speific area and help as many as possible.

I've seen it myself. If you spread yourself too thin trying to help everyone then you're not going to do a good job, better to work with others who want to help people, then you can stick to one speific area and help as many as possible.

Blacks right, believe me i've done the days where i worked my arse off because i wanted to help as many as possible. But it took my manager and colleagues to tell me that it was actually ruining me. Letting the stress get ontop of me and that lead to fatigue, so i had to learn that helping people is in moderation.

I've said it once, i'll say it again. Life is a balancing act, if you can manage to balance your job, your family, your friends, your stress, hopes for the future. If you can balance all that - life becomes easy.

I get the impression that your only around 15-16 years old animefreak, sure your sisters had a hard time and your fiercely loyal to your siblings and family, but as you get older life becomes both a hell of a lot more complex, but at the same time, equally as simple.

If you'd have said to me when i was 14-15 that all the things i was worried about at that time where not important at all i'd have said "hell no" but now that times have chanced, i see that the worries i had back then are nothing compared to what i have now.... but the difference is that i'm matured enough to handle pretty much anything life throws at me now.

Give yourself time and make sure that this is what you want. Don't try to rush into anything in life if it involves this sort of thing.

i want children to have happy lives get a good education have loads of friends and have hope for the future
i want women to have a happy lives get a good career, have a good partner ( if there lesbians thats fine too)
look at it this way if you had a daughter and you knew theres danger in this world with pedos and rapests you would want a place where your children can play with no worries am i right.
and how long does these basterds get in prison...........6 - 10 years with additional beating from the in mates.
they should get the death sentence life in prison at least.

No, if you sentence someone to confinement for the rest of their life, you are not much better than they are, just they have taken from others, so have you. Giving them a short term in prison gives them the oppertunity to redeem themselves, to turn their lives around.

In some cases the paedophile or rapist themselves have been abused or molested, so if you are prepared to help the victim, you must also be prepared to help the culprit.

like a death for a life time in prison or death for a death
thieves should do community services for all the things they stole
rapists should get life sentences
pedos lock up for good
drug dealers 30 years of imprisonment
