This is a native brazilian dish... BTW, if you have any pour a bit of it on a pan and add those pancake toppings... It's awesome!

They sell it near where I live (along with all kinds of food from all over the place - very multicultural area around my house!) but also a lot of us grew up with tinned tapioca pudding. I think Ambrosia do some which you might find in bigger supermarkets in most cities. Yummy. I never knew it came from Brazil!

Who could have imagined... =) Back home we make them as pudding, cake or pancake. I particularly like them as pancake, but they need some sort of topping pull out the flavour. I've never seen them in the markets around me.
