Hello!
I'm Julia. I'm from Italy, but now I live in Ireland.

I love manga and my favorite are: all Ai Yazawa's manga, Death Note, Angel Sanctuary, Video Girl Ai, Fruits Basket.....
And I'm a big fan of Miyazaki's anime!

Sorry for my English, it's not perfect. :)
 
Wow, one or 2 series that I've not heard of. Should be interesting to research them.

Which manga? Furuba and Death Note are famous... I think Video Girl Ai... (in Italy it's old, I don't know in UK) It's by Masakazu Katsura, and it's really amazing! It's for girl and boy.

I like those series too, so I think that you have good taste. I really enjoyed Paradise Kiss but Nana is starting to depress me with the latest English volumes...

oh, Nana.... I like this manga, I saw the anime and two films....but I think Ai Yazawa drinks something strong before to draw Nana! The story is becoming chaotic!

Hey there Julia! welcome to the forums, I've read all of video girl AI and video girl Len as well. They are good fun, started very funny, then became a bit dark, but overall it's a good series.
I've read angel sanctuary a bit, until volume 9 or something... From Ai Yazawa I've read Princess Ai, nothing else.
Furuba and death note are pretty big everywhere I guess =)

Oh, yes, I also love Laura Pausini and Andrea Bocceli songs... cheesy, I know ;D

mmm...yes, they are nice, but I don't like too much italian song...

I'm a big Beatles fan (I went to Liverpool in May) and I like japanese music: miyavi, Moi dix Mois (I love Mana Sama), Yui, Mika Nakashima...

And if there are metal fans, I like Blind Guardian, Dio, Deep Purple, Iron Maiden, Manowar, and more....

I'm a very eclectic person (and to be honest with you, they are probably the only italians band / singers I know).
Going to purple on the 30th, though I miss Blackmore a lot....
