The December issue of the magazine Monthly Shounen Ace has revealed that there will be a film based on Heaven’s Lost Property (Sora no Otoshimono).



The fantasy title comes from Suu Minazuki started life as a manga series in 2007 and has had two seasons of TV anime which has been licensed for North American by Funimation. A third season was expected but there has been no word on it yet.

That's the film released in 2011. This news report is in relation to a new film due to premiere next year and there being no word on a third season which was supposed to go ahead.

Glad you clarified that, I was looking at the original post to see if it was a necro.

Good to see some more Heaven's lost property but no news on the third seasons a bit worrying. When I glanced over the Manga it did seem like they had deviated a bit, I wonder if that's going to cause issues.
