I like being chivalrious. But I'm expected to be helped by others as well. I see chivalry as lending a helping hand without need to. But I do that with everyone, even if it is a feminist ideal.

Where I work everyone's paid the same and is expected to do their share of the work regardless of gender, which is fair enough imo...

(though that doesn't stop people from asking me to carry their heavy stuff - just because I'm younger dammit, lol! *sobs as back breaks*)
