And you've forgotten one of the best, Red Vs. Blue by Roosterteeth, although that's more of a Dramedy nowadays

From the look of the season 9 trailer it's full drama... sad =/ I love monty oum's action scenes in season 8 but it seems a waste.

however, season 8 was a nice ending to the series (if indeed it remains so, since 9 is a prequel about freelancer) so I don't mind too much. The final epilogue part cause me to almost shed a tear.

My view of Season 9 so far is part prequel and part sequel as some of it is in Church's mind or whatever it is he's in at the end of Season 8, it's fairly good so far, it's returned to it's roots in Comedy in some places, but also added a heavy dose of action in others, but that's based off of the first 4 episodes at the moment.

I'm surprised that you don't like Monty's animation scenes, I think they're more of an extension allowing RT to do stuff they wouldn't have been able to do with just the game and a nice touch the fight with Tex would've been a tad rubbish without it imo.

I said I loved Monty's fights =S In those exact words , I'm not sure why you thought I didn't. When I said it was a waste I meant if they go full on straight-man instead of comedy, because Oum works well with comedy too (Tex fight with teleporters). But I do think Oum should be used sparingly as in Revelation, since the classic up-down heads is still amusing and a house style. That said I've not seen any season 9 past the trailer yet (I wait for the whole series and then binge :p)
