Writing at 2am is pain. Will get that fixed!@Joshawott I think you made a typo. Isn't the purchase price $1.175 billion rather than $1.75 billion?
Sony also own Aniplex, So might be a problem.Thats pretty much the only avenue left as they hardly ever go for Sentai releases...
I'd personally love to see AL & MVM merge theres going to be less and less licenses available to them both as they'll have to compete for whats left.
Granted AL do deals direct with Aniplex but how much longer is that going to last as Sony have Funi, Crunchy, Manga, and Madman locked down. Next stop is direct to the supplier.
Yeah that was my point, Funi/Manga can't have been happy about AL getting Demon Slayer but they licensed direct from Aniplex which is separate from Funi or was at the time. But they'll roll them into one eventually.Sony also own Aniplex, So might be a problem.
If it's slim pickings for new series, maybe AL might try to get more diskotek stuff like Honey & Clover, Kaiba, Twelve Kingdoms etc. Every cloud...
