I'm just about to edit my original post with some updates. Here's the marginally shorter summary:

Mushi-Shi: 1-4 Dub
School Rumble Extra Class: 1-2 Sub & Dub
Sekirei: Pure Engagement: 1-12 Sub
Tsubasa: Spring Thunder Chronicle: 1-2 Sub
Tsubasa: Toyko Revelations: 1-3 Sub

Removed or now not available:
Jing: King of Bandits: OVA 1-3 Sub
Soul Eater: 1-51 Sub, 1-4 Dub (I guess this should never have been available)

Amended (sub or dub episodes added):
Ah! My Goddess: Flights of Fancy: 1-19 Dub
Black Blood Brothers: 1-12 Sub, 1-2 Dub
Blue Gender: 1-13 Dub
Dance in the Vampire Bund: 1-13 Sub

Galaxy Railways: 1-26 Dub
Hero Tales: 1-26 Sub
Heroic Age: 1-26 Sub, 1-19 Dub
Initial D First Stage: 1-26 Sub, 1-4 Dub

The Legend of the Legendary Heroes: 1-14 Sub
XxxHOLiC: 1-24 Sub & Dub

Amended (sub or dub episodes removed):
Birdy the Mighty: Decode: 02: 1 & 3-12 Sub (now missing ep 2)
D. Gray Man: 1-6 Sub, 1-4 Dub
Darker Than Black: 1-26 Sub, 1-4 Dub
Fullmetal Alchemist: 1-51 Sub, 1-4 Dub
Jyu-Oh-Sei: 1-11 Sub, 1-2 Dub
MoonPhase: 1-26 Sub, 1-4 Dub
Murder Princess: 1-6 Sub
Negima!? Magister Negi Magi: 1-26 Sub, 1-4 Dub
Ouran High School Host Club: 1-26 Sub, 1-4 Dub
Sands of Destruction: 1-13 Sub
Save Me! Lollipop: 1-13 Sub, 1-2 Dub
Shigurui: Death Frenzy: 1-12 Sub, 1-2 Dub

The trend seems to be towards the YouTube rental side of things for the dubs, so any shows with subtitles and beyond four episodes of dubs now may have the dubs made rental-only (or region-locked) in future. I don't think UK users can rent them yet so that effectively locks them.

As always, I'd encourage you to buy any anime that you feel is worthy.

Soul eater is blocked because Manga licensed it, it's Manga's parent that have put up the geoblock, rather than FUNi (as with everything else).
So FUNi was in error there then. It's the same message as for FMA:B.

If FUNi have the UK license and Manga sublicenses DVD rights from then then FUNi can still stream it. I don't know about Soul Eater, but FUNi do not have any UK rights to FMA:B; Manga licensed it direct from Aniplex.

Rolled current UK TV showings into the original post so people looking for free legal anime have a one stop shop to look for the list. Please nudge if you have any additions/removals!

Crunchyroll just added The Melody of Oblivion (Boukyaku no Senritsu) as part of their Kadokawa catalog titles thingy. All eps up for subscribers, four a week being added for free users. They also added Lucky Star, but as you might sensibly guess that one isn't available to the UK.

Don't know if anybody knows, but Funimation isn't the only legal streamer on youtube there's quite a few, Manga Entertainment, GONG, Crackle, Anime Channel

I found out by going on to shows and then clicking on Animation & Cartoons, some good stuff on there

Took to long to type all of them but there's some good old and obscure stuff like Gurren Lagann, Mobile Suit Gundam, Magic Knight Rayearth, Samurai X, Astro Boy, Ramen Fighter Miki etc.

I found out be going on shows, anime (mostly FUNimation) to start with was more than half the legal stuff on youtube.

Junjo Romantica added this week by Noizomient (Rightstuf)

FUNimation do appear to be way ahead of everyone in terms of volume of shows available.

Had a browse through Manga Entertainment's "shows" section, this is what they have available in the UK at the moment...

Astro Boy: 1-51 Dub
Descendants of Darkness: 1-12 Dub
Gurren Lagann: 1-27 Dub
M.D. Geist II: Death Force: Dub (first one's blocked for the UK)
Negadon: The Monsters from Mars: Dub
Now and Then, Here and There: 1-13 Dub
Robotech: The Macross Saga: 1-36 Dub
Robotech: The Masters: 1-24 Dub
Robotech: The New Generation: 1-25 Dub
Virus - Buster Serge: 1-12 Dub

I'll certainly be watching Now and Then, Here and There soon(ish). Got my hopes up when I saw Monster there but it's blocked.

Looking at Samurai X on Crackle's channel, there are 94 episodes uploaded, but ANN's telling me the series is 95 episodes. Have they seriously just not bothered posting the final episode?

Never seen NTHT and I notice it is only up till the 26th so that goes on my viewing list (the first episode at least).

I'd recommend watching at least the first two; the story proper doesn't really start until the second episode so it will give a better idea of what to expect :)

Got the Christmas Radio times, and the annual showing of Spirited Away is in there...

Tuesday 21st 10.40 am, probably the dub. BBC2

Also Thursday 30th Channel 4, 3.25am (I guess that makes it Friday really)... Tales From Earthsea, subbed version. Set your PVRs

Fingers crossed that Funi (especially) and others are slow to move on as many of the series I'm looking forward to as possible. I was watching seven shows from CR this season just gone, and only two of those are carrying over, so I'm looking for more than a 50% strike rate out of the eleven new announcements.

Bwahahahaha. I wasn't going to bother watching that past the first ep (since it is the first show of the new season), but it's almost harder not to watch CR shows. Let's hope the quality of the annoucements only gets better as they go on, though.
