Food

I look forward to having noodles and rice, compared to chips.
Mash potatoes isn't bad too, but nothing beats colourful and slimey foods (minus snails and frogs... bleh.)

I love all types of foods, English staples like Fish & chips and Bread & butter pudding, French bistro steaks, Thai salads and curries, Chinese banquets, Indian curries and cheese, Italian pasta and salads, and of course, Japanese everything... and I cook all types too. I also bake cakes/biscuits/cookis/shortbread, and make jam each autumn whenever I remember to go out and pick wild blackberries.

My favourite food is Shio Ramen (Paitan-men), pork noodles in a cloudy soup with stir fried veg. REAL ramen, not the instant stuff, or the watered down stuff you usually get in Japanese restaurants in the UK. The soup has to be made from authentic pork bones, boiled for hours, with a bit of salt. The noodles have to be fresh, long and flavourful. The slices of pork have to be tender, with lots of tendon and a good amount of marble. The vegetables have to have a good crisp to them, and be sweet and salty, fried in soy sauce and mirin just enough to be al dente.

Failing that, I will take curry. ANY curry. All day, and everyday, I would never get sick of curry. Though I might get fat.

Mmmmmm I love really really spicy hot foods so indian. Pizza is always excellent. Perhaps most of all is the odd occasion when I visit home. My mum will always makes an excellent sunday lunch or steak or lamb with all the trimmings. Perhaps I should visit more often :p

I love food, theres not much better than gorging yourself on a big pile of your favourite foods.
Having said that, i'm one of the pickiest eaters you will find. But, Chocolate, sweets, cakes love them...as long as theres not fruit or nuts present.
On the savoury side. Rice and noodles are great, but i'm pretty much a herbivore so a good salad is great, and i love a good home cooked roast dinner...i just stick to the veg.
Oh, and cheese is great too

Yeah I love gorging on my fav foods, I can eat a lot. Maybe we should hold an eating thing or something.

sonia_leong can curry make you fat?

Kitkat Peanut edition, I hope they stay. <3

Kitkats are the win.

OMG agreed, those things are the win.

And I love Indian and Chinese foods, not takeaways (well actually yes takeaways, but not so much) but authentic cooking, using my own spices and whatnot. Don't do it too often at least while I'm at Uni, but once every week or two I go out and get some proper ingredients for whatever I'm craving. Then for the rest of the week it's Instant Noodles and Porridge.

I just love the ribs that you get from tyhe chinese all the diffrent things they put on top :D

I also love realy realy spicy currys :)
