Finally...another anime forum

Thought I'd say hi, I'm Johnny from Belfast. I'm old enough (41 in a couple of months, where does the time go?) to have been around the anime block for a while, starting watching in the mind-90's with the usual Manga UK stuff like Akira, GitS, Fist of the North Star and so on. It wasn't until late 2003 when I really got deep into the hobby, signing up to animeondvd.com (any old AoD folk on here?) to get a few recommendations and then just having a great time importing a lot of R1 stuff when the industry was booming over in the US as well as here in the UK.

I wasn't watching or buying too much until fairly recently, but have, for the past few years, been watching more 'currently airing in Japan' series than I ever have and am loving the recent older releases from the likes of Anime Ltd, especially reliving my early twenties getting back into Naruto and Bleach.

Gaming is my primary hobby, but I'm excited to have another anime forum to sign up to after a long time.

Welcome!

I'm also in my 40s, and I still watch more anime than is healthy for a human being. Pretty sure I still have boxes full of old Manga Video PAL VHS tapes somewhere...
I'd love to have some of my favourite Manga Video VHS again, purely for decorative purposes. If ever I saw them in a charity shop for £1 a tape or something, I'd definitely snap them up. Of course, they go for far more than that on ebay etc, which is fair enough.

I definitely have quite a few of them stored away somewhere. Plus a load of old UK VHS releases of various Godzilla films. Manga did one or two of them.

Welcome:), What are games you love playing?

Thanks, I play far too much lol, on all consoles.

All time favourites include Final Fantasy VII, Ridge Racer Type 4, Garou: Mark of the Wolves, Rez, Shenmue, Shadow of the Colossus, Streets of Rage, Outrun 2006: Coast 2 Coast, ESPgaluda and too many more to list.
