That's because the fanboys expected Cloud, Tifa and all the gang, rather than another Sci-fi movie, which is strange because that's what was advertised. >_>
 
Are you kidding? Spirits Within is still a poor movie, Final Fantasy or nay. It's a brainless action movie with an uninteresting and ridiculously cliched plot. If anything, it's too much like a Final Fantasy movie.

It was still more watchable than Advent Children, then again most things are. Except maybe Appleseed.
