We're waiting for the OP to return home to give his updates about this 'punk' on his bus.

Judging from his absence of said update, he attends night school, or the aforementioned 'punk' kicked his ass so bad, he is now residing in Intensive Care.

A punk is man who in prison will be used as a sort of sex toy, not knowing what "to punk" someone is, I assumed it was that.
