well todays the day! Evangelion is FINALLY released in theaters!

reviews seems so so... im not for one for fan subs but this is one i DEFO CAN NOT wait for!
 
From what i heard it was yesterday :p , and they had a preview for the next one too. Also i read up on ANN that this is meant to be shown at an international film festival, can't remember exactly which one or whatever.

Even for fan-subs, you will be waiting a while, most probably until DVD release, so you have a long while to wait.

Yeah, the next one features redesigned Evas and a brand new female character!

The first movie set to be shown at a Korean film festival soon.

Where have you read reviews of the movie? I've searched the internets high and low and I can't find a single review yet :(

Knowing companies these days the movies are probably already liscensed. Although I doubt we'll find out by who untill next year. But tbh i've got enough Evangelion to be catching up on anyway so it doesn't bother me that much.
 
Lol @ you guys being so eager... it's just EVA, and give it time all you want will be out soon, reviews, images, RAW movie file. >__>

I really don't understand why everyone keeps saying this :s Every report about the Eva 2.0 preview says it's a "completely newly designed" female character - I.E. Not Mana from an Eva videogame.

Nah, it's not Mana.

My guess is that she's a love interest for Shinji. I reckon Hideaki Anno is trying to show that he's now a happily married man, whereas in the original series, he was still recovering from clinical depression.

And I absolutely hate the idea of Shinji being happy. I really don't want a happily ever after story for Evangelion.

Ah. Sorry.

I don't know what to believe on this 'new character' thing. It'll probably end up being this Mana girl. I think on that review LukasROAR posted, it had a silhouette of the new character, If it matches: Its Mana (obviously) If it doesn't A redesign of Mana? or a actual new character. Wooo.

Anyways. Time will tell. . . . .
