Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo Theatrical Trailer

The official website for the Evangelion franchise is streaming a theatrical trailer for the forthcoming Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo (Evangelion Shin Gekijō-ban Q), the third of a four-part retelling of Hideaki Anno’s seminal anime title with Studio Khara animating.

It looks suitably epic and it is due to get this released in Japanese theatres on the 17th of November.

I'm not sure I can handle any more Evangelion. I'll retreat into Patlabor.

The title always makes me lol a bit, I read this as they can't redo their film trailer.

Considering how I HATED the first of these movies, and was only mildly impressed with the ... I'm actually finding myself curiously interested in this one.

My great hope is that, after not having really 'got' Evangelion at all, maybe the next two movies will push things into place for me. There's nothing worse than seeing a show or a movie everyone else is raving about and feeling like the penny hasn't quite dropped for you yet.
