Disappearance of Haruhi delayed

@takuku1 It's a cunning viral campaign. #TheDisappearanceOfHaruhiSuzumiya has disappeared from release schedules! I'll explain soon
I don't like the fact it sounds as if they're trying to play games with people's money.

I hope manga doesn't use this as an excuse to go 'LOL were releasing it in December' cause that would really make me...

A incompetent company that is run by incompetent people. Sorry, but this is taking the mick now really, you don't screw around with your fan base by first delaying the release to October and then suddenly seeing said title disappear (quite literally the title of the film) from the release schedule because of "viral" campaigning. I reckon because of some "amateurish tweets", the licensing company has probably got fed up with Manga faffing around....actually....i am aswell!

Shame the UK doesnt have a company to rival Manga really, it might explain why some people decide to import instead!

Is the movie delayed in the US as well? Because these delays carry a strong whiff of Bandai Entertainment incompetence. There'll be something wrong with the discs, too, mark my words!

EDIT: As far as I can tell the Bandai R1 release of Disappearance has never been given a release date, so either Manga are going on Bandai's word (bad idea) or plucking dates out of the air (even badder idea).

I was talking about the American DVD/BD innit. There's no date for that yet, and I'm guessing Manga won't be able to release Disappearance here until it's out in the US (which, presumably, is the reason for the Twitter ranting a few weeks back).

That was almost certainly about having to do singles for K-on!, if you were at the panel at expo.

Oh yeah, I'd forgotten about that.

Still, I'm sure it wouldn't have pleased Manga to hear "soz, it's not ready yet lol" after they'd set a July date. It'll get here when it gets here I suppose.
