Ah you see the flaw here is that it said it in Death Note 13 now while the extra information is useful for things like these i was going by the facts stated in he manga (vols 1 - 12) Things like that should of been made clear from the get go though Death Note won't be the only series to have that kind of problem

Its hardly a flaw, its just telling people who didnt realise in the first place thats whats happening. Who couldnt guess that L was very suspcious of Light. Think "Im only 3% suspicious" but yet goes to SO much trouble. It was obvious he knew Light was Kira.

Try telling that to the people who haven't read Death Note 13,as to why he went through so much trouble, it was clear to me that Light was the only viable suspect to be Kira at that point and given the nature of Kira's crimes that's the reason why he couldn't be totally confident it was him

Before I read Death Note 13 I could figure that out though :S

maybe i didn't make myself clear in that above post how could he known it was 100% it was Light? did he see him in the act he had supsicions as i said he was the only viable suspect at the time, he could of been sure but he couldn't of known 100%...

wait how did we get arguing about this? my main point at the beginning was that the first arc was the better half of the show

Im saying that due to far better characters having larger parts in the second arc, the second arc was better. Takada, Mikami Teru, Matsuda and the controversial Near and Mello (Whom I dont like, but that just made me like Kira more!!)

To be techincal Matsuda was actually in the first arc and he did a good job in that. Also I still think that it could of ended at the first arc and then no one would really of complained (though i'm aware they could of kept asking for a sequel and we could still got the second arc just a lot longer. Then again maybe it would of been better)

I like how that's the only part of the post you comment on but i get the feeling that we're really not going to cover any new ground here, and i doubt that you are going to go back on your stance either, so maybe we argee to disagree on this one. I'll just stick to watching the first arc and reading the first half of the manga series and you can watch the full thing Not a bad compromise is it :lol:

@Kendar, yeah you'll be waiting a while for the Death Note boxset, i would guess that it won't be out till fall 2009, since we seem to be getting the vols at intervals of a few months
