I didn't care much for the Japanese movies but I at least made an effort to watch them.. This on the other hand, I'm not even sure I'd watch it to see how bad it's going to be.

Well there's one silver lining at least :p Still i'm hoping for this to be a scam, i would expect this from a 4kids adaption...still can't be worse then the guyver live action movie

Also, is it just me, or does the Death Note seem to be a lot like the symbiote from Spider-man 3 "it's definitely affecting him" I suspect they'll have a dance montage and shots of Luke becoming increasingly "dark" (read: camp emo)
