They re-aired the series in 2009 with 14 new episodes

"Season 2" of Haruhi is during season 1 due to the skrewy chonology. It is numbered as such, they broadcast it during a re-run of the old eps (in chronological order). It was also simul-ish cast on youtube here.
 
Yeah, I knew about that, thought they might have included some new eps on the Japanese DVD release or something. That'll teach me to actually read the whole thread before posting!

15 and 25 have turned up on the BBFC. Maybe someone went on holiday and they got left.
