I don't believe this "geolocking" is a real thing. I can't find a bluray player in my house that doesn't play Sentai's "geolocked" blurays.

Depends what title, really. Sentai's Chunibyo S1, for example, will not play on my Region Free BD player, no matter what region I put it on, yet will play on my PS4. There are some titles, such as Kiniro Mosaic S2, which seem to be straight up Region A/B, playing on my Region Free player no matter what region I set it to.

Yeah, even my actual Japanese players bought in person in Tokyo play them. I think you can force them not to play if you deliberately set your locale to the UK but it's all very silly. Not that I'm going to complain.

I haven't imported anything for a while. Are you telling me that even though I got a region free BD player specifically for imports it might not work for some newer Sentai releases? I suppose it's lucky I have a PS4 as my UK player, but that's a shady move to pull.

Think I'll be importing Sentai's School-Live! and buying Manga's as well so I'm not a hypocrite.
