I ended up liking Yuru Camp more than Universe, they both work in different ways but I preferred the comfy atmosphere of the former over the more emotionally driven narrative of the latter. They’re both pretty close to each other in ratings though. Think I liked Hozuki 2 more than Universe controversially.

I know it came out last year but is Heaven's Feel eligible?

I think that award depends on if the film saw a western theatrical release in the current year. Last year I think films like A Silent Voice and Your Name got nominated despite originally releasing in 2016.

Yes best character design, but not best girl as the writers really f'd her over in the second half by nerfing her attitude and just turning her into an obedient waifu.

Anyone who liked Yuru Camp need to get a HiDive subscription and watch Hakumei and Mikochi (and Mitsuboshi Colors, although a bit more chaotic).
