Cowboy Bebop and Code Geass R2 Anime Legends in January

The first two 2012 releases in Beez Entertainment's "Anime Legends" line have been revealed.

First up, is the highly anticipated re-release of the remastered Cowboy Bebop Remix, which quite rightly deserves its place as an Anime Legend and will be released as a 6-disc set on 2nd January 2012.

Next is Code Geass R2 which will be released on 30th January, also as a six disc set.

I already own the Code Geass singles, but I will definitely get Cowboy Bebop.
 
They look slick. The UK Bebop cover looks much better than the US one, IMO.

Since Bebop's released on January 2nd, I'm gonna order it through HMV and watch it over the Christmas-New Year holiday ;D.
 
I still have the big cardboard boxes of non-remastered Cowboy Bebop on my shelf, I may have to pick up the remix AL set, if only for the space saving-ness of it.
 
Just waiting for my chance to click that preorder button on amazon for Cowboy Bebop.

By the way, I love how you did that thing with releasing Bebop as Anime Legends thing, Beez. Nice work.

Also, I don't think that's the final coverart. It's just the old covers with Anime Legends slapped on it. Check the C in Code Geass.
 
It also looks like Lelouch is shaping up to grab CC's botty with his other hand, prompting CC to form a defensive barrier with her own hands.

Just FYI, Bebop Remix has better sound and that's it. The video is still crappy.

Can't blame him for trying.
 
Yeah. The Remix transfer uses the same composite master as all the other US and UK releases. Bebop has had a proper remastering but that version has never been released outside of Japan.
