13753 - Yeah... I'm gonna have a business course before the end too... Oh dear, this is gonna kill me before the end lmao.
I finish next july, and then gonna send my final pieces into an exhibition called New Designers. That's wracking up a good price to show everyone who the hell I am, but it's gonna be in London. That's gotta be worth something.

13754 lol ouch, when you say worth something do you mean its going to be beneficial to you that its in london or that its going to cost an arm and a leg

Though i'm not sure how many diffferent jobs this is true for but one thing i've leaned is sometimes its not nesscarily what you know but who you know that helps getting works

You'll have to show pictures of your finished stuff before you send them away13757 - ATM, it's sculpture based on emotions, of which mostly are negative. The project is called ARUOK (ARe yoU OK?) and I've so far made heads with anime-esque expressions, but with their flaws.
I.E. They have the small pointy noses and large eyes (with manga-like expressions). The flaws are cracked or torn parts of the skin etc. It is to show their insecurities and ill-fated mood.
In the future, I may do some "collectors" plates and such to advertise my drawing style, but I'm not sure about what imagery I'm gonna put on it or the shape of the plates etc. We'll see.

13758 cool ironicaly my final year project dealt with emotions, i devised a system that would be able to change emotions on 3D characters without timing them (so instead of just saying that at xx time the animation should change it would read through the story and could identify when it should change, meaning it could be used again and again)
Best to focus on the work you're doing now though instead of getting lost in future ideas

13759 - Well, it's not going to be that much of a change tbh, and all I really need is either a plate mould or a throwing wheel and that's the practical side done. Just gotta put my own spin on it and sell it off.
Besides, although I've done a few good head sculptures, they've completely changed from what I initially wanted them to look like. This way, I can keep a firmer grip on what and how I want to do things, rather than going into tangents, like I usually do. (And this time, even if the advise is good, I'm gonna be stubborn in what I want... Seems to be a major flaw in my personality.)

Higurashi kai is sooo good! I've watched episode 13 now, and I just can't believe everything that's been revealed so far! Like, Rika having gone through the same two weeks for a hundred years, and Takano being the real culprit! Normally, watching a mystery show, I will have figured everything out by half way through, but this, I'm just so shocked by every revelation Even though I knew there was another 11 episodes to go, I still wanted everything to work out okay in this arc I've just watched, and was really sad when it didn't, but at least Rika knows about Takano, so she can try to stop her this time!

13767 - I saw that on AMV Hell 4, and I thought... What the hell is this? Higurashi just seems too psychologically disturbing from that 20sec clip... I didn't like the character design or the fact the brown haired girl was stabbing her own neck. And I've seen some psycho horrors before...

Ha ha, well it's not all like that, but it is pretty bloody! If you can put that aside tho, it's definitely worth a look for the amazing story (even if it is slightly confusing in the beginning!). Also, the character design is one of the things that makes the plot developments so surprising, especially when the cute loli girls stab themselves in the head or similar

I love Higurashi, it just gets better and better. I like that they fleshed out Takano's character a lot too.
@Chaz - I went into Higurashi cautiously (not because of the gore - it was the moe moe character designs putting me off) but it is a really refreshing, different series that is definately worth a watch.
