Count to a Million

13101 lol i called it right then. oh and i found the *bosses* harder, i didn't see a need to ramp it up as once you get past the story mode (original mode is where it's at) you won't be complaining about it being too easy (plus its just like in the anime where the gundams cut through swathes of cannon fodder mecha with ease..or am i just thinking of Gundam Wing again)

LBP sucks me in so quickly lol. one thing i've learnt from it is why god doesn't do anything on earth after the 7th day.....because when your given the powers to create anything you want, anything in your wildest dreams....you can't think of anything to make lmao

playing Naruto storm, loving it but its tedious and i've completed 1 A rank mission already. as squad 7 i have to defeat kakashi when he has speed bonus, rage bonus and sharingan. the whole thing is very quick and he's all over you like rock lee vs gaara. took 4 tries to do it but finally got him. 1st time i got one hit before he finished me. 2nd i got through his 1st health bar. 3rd managed to get him down to 20% health (2 and 3/4 health bars) but fang pursuit jutsu is really hard to evade.
final time i pushed skills and reaction time to the test and managed to beat him to a pulp with 5% health remaining on naruto. after that the adreneline was pulsing through me so hard i could feel my heartbeats through the ribcage. that was immense fun to do though.

lol love mock the week :p

need to think up a more complex level. my "ninja within" level is hard enough. many can't get past the ninja holding shuriken and the stormy river. and when they do they have to scale a wall thats so hard to do that most fall to their death trying it. BUT IT IS POSSIBLE TO DO! the ninja are being updated tonight....shuriken throwing ninja will plague the area.

want to do a naruto level but migh have to edit names ;)

off to lunch. stomach is talking more than me....that is also possible.

Yeah, I suppose you're right about the similarities to the Gundam series' Black. Actually, did the old RX-78 ever get damaged except at the very end? (did lose it's shield and rifle a couple of times though)

My Mini Cooper pwns in Gran Turismo (Er... I can't afford an Aston yet :( ). Though in two of the level one races you have to compete in a Suzuki Cappuccino (657cc)

13106 yeah though Media Molecue may ask you to tweak it more then that you know :p (they don't want to have to remove levels completely so more power to them if they are going to are going to dedicate a lot of time to help players get around copyright)

I can't drive that bally Cappuccino to save my life. It's harder than the powerful cars :/

Unrelatedly I like "woooooooooo"ing in songs, Tachi, so long as there's more to the song than that. And by association "yeah"ing and "ahhh"ing when appropriate. I don't listen to much chart music (never heard a Leona song or seen X Factor!) so am assuming the type you describe is particularly grating and fluffy. Some artists seem to be more interested in their love affair with their own warbling than entertaining casual listeners.

Hey Voddas :p

Your link to the Dead Space DVD in the Games thread just made me notice that something fairly major passed the UK Anime scene by. Manga Entertainment also released it as a Blu-ray. Am I right in saying that's their first?

And as far as song vocals go I'm fairly open style wise (Debbie Harry, Siouxsie, Donita Sparks, Kathleen Hanna, Bjork, Alanis Morissette - that's my CD rack's "female vocalist" collection for you) but I too can't stand that kind of wobbly voiced moaning that seems to pass for singing amongst so many female artists these days.

I had seen the Blu-Ray release also Ayase but never clicked. I don't actually know it that's their fist HD release but then again, non-others come to mind. So very possibly.

Speaking of waffle... have you heard DUFFY's new song!! I nearlly crashed my car trying to chnage channels and cover my ears at the same tiem... like I didn't hate her enough as it is.

Maybe I'm just biased towards my favourite singers. I like the wooooing in this song:

http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=94SZYWYQc9A

(It's a [superior] cover of a popular song and it's from the first live action Nana movie, so beware potential mild spoilers in the video if you planned to see that and watch with eyes closed or something).

But 99% of, say, Mariah Carey music annoys me because it seems to have become nothing but mindless warbling with no substance. It sounds like the musical equivalent of Naruto filler episodes. Harsh from me as some of my favourite music is filled with squealing and pauses and strangeness (Kana!).

Bjork is awesome.

Man it's been quiet in here today.

Rui, are you at home at the moment or are you at work? Just out of intrest like.

Work is really dragging for me today guys. Nothing intresting is happening in the forums either. Not one single awakened Mono or anything.

All I can think about is finishing FMP tonight. I must see the end!! Does it have a good ending by the way?? No spoilers please!

*drags heals to a chair and slumps down*

13113 you almost sound like you want a repeat of that halloween battle when all crazyness broke lose :p

FMP! has a good ending (at least i thought so) the matter at hand resolves nicely

I'm at work, but it's deathly boring at the moment hence my unusual chattiness. I hope it perks up soon before my brain starts to decay :(

I would agree that the the song you linked Rui is a lot better than Ma*iah (that's exactly the sort of thing I hate, when there's "oooh"ing between every line and the singing style gives words an extra seven syllables) but I'm still not really a fan. I tend to favour particularly strong or very unique voices.

My Award for "Best Female Vocal Performance" goes to Siouxsie in Israel (though the low youtube sound quality doesn't help my case):

I'll listen to her later as your taste sounds interesting in general (I don't have sound on my work PC since I have to man phones even when it's boring!). If you like unique I nominate Kana. My husband jokes that the only person who actively supports her career can be me because he can't imagine many people actually enjoying listening to this:

Awesome karaoke memories with that song. Heh heh heh. I like her singing.

Wow! Her high>low>high pitch changes remind me of Robert Smith from The Cure, and that is a very, very good thing from my perspective. :thumb: It does remind me of a particular Cure song actually but I can't think which at the moment.

Edit: Soeone has actually commented: "Kana is up there with Siouxsie and Bjork, this is one of her best I love it."
