Y'know I've wanted there to be a multi-part Bond film forever. At the end of Casino it was all I could do to stop myself from delivering a standing ovation by myself in the cinema  I hope they carry on and tie all Daniel Craig's together with a big overarching plot.
How many home video releases does one film need though? 1, 2 and now 3 disc DVDs and 1 & 2 disc blu-rays. I think it's the first film to be released twice on blu, and there was me hoping that maybe the extra space would mean they wouldn't go down the DVD route of multiple releases... oh well.
@Black - I still think the old Bond films are fun, but you have to admit they're lacking in the plot (not to mention acting) department.
12800 lol well the acting i never really noticed and as for plot my retort is simple: the 2007 Transformers movie  but when watching a bond film i wasn't looking for a plot, i wanted the bullet points to be there mastermind/evil person wants to take over world, bond stops them with a mix of female helper and cool gadets/vehicles or mix of the two. That's all i need for a bond film. I knew when i was a kid anyway that the bond films at the time where based loosely off the books (found out via an aduio version of Moonraker which i found didn't have anything to do with a space station and laser beams)
The Bond in the orginal Bond books was a hardened man that didn't take any ****. He smoked and drank loads to clear his head, and he got hurt alot. Never really seen that untill Casino Royal. Always thought the old Bonds were all a little too propper and (dare I say) not manly enough. Still... I loved the movies. I just think this is how Bond is ment to be.
I have them all on VHS and DVD... next will be Blu-Ray! My poor wallet TT_TT
 Well now would be an appropriate time, wouldn't it? Though there are some good Black British actors that could do a better job than Will Smith...
12804 i would only see it if they returned it to how it was before Casino Royale but now this may be how Bond was supposed to be but its not for me, (in the same vein of how i wasn't intrested in seeing the Bourne movies)
I saw Pursuit of Happiness on a plane coming back from the US last year. Eh, it had it's moments but was a bit too American for my taste, if you know what I mean (Downtorodden man triumphs over the odds, DRAMA! etc.) Will Smith's not a bad actor but it just wasn't my cup of tea.
12810 Independence Day was a better war of the worlds film then the 05 version ever hoped to be Also Men in Black, i loved that, the sequel not so much. Also Wild Wild West is a guilty pleasure of mine since so many people seemed to dislike it
Wild Wild West! Now there's a film I woulb=dn't mind seeing again. I dunno why people didn't like it. It obviously wasn't a seriouse film and there were lots of impossible things happening all the time. Like shining a light threw a severed head to see his last thing he saw lol. Yeah right.
12812 Fringe shown a scientific way of doing that by sending using the optic nerves and a computer monitor (it helped that the woman died due to an over dose of antestic
